IT/Cyber Policy and Plan Development Specialist

Edgewater Federal Solutions has an exciting opportunity to hire a Policy and Plan Development Specialist, with a current Top Secret clearance, to provide support to DOE IN located in Washington DC. Join us as we build systems to change our client's mission for the better. This role is hybrid/telework position requiring onsite 50% in the DC office.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 7
years of IT and Cyber Policy and Plan Development experience Top Secret clearance required Experience supporting policy and plan development Experience with DoD or Federal Government policy or practices Experience with writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Experience with briefing clients and team members on technical, policy, and functional issues Half time onsite weekly in Washington DC
Responsibilities:
Assist in leading the assessment, development, review, and integration of Cyber, IA and IT policies and plans within the customer's environment. Work with federal program leads from a prioritized work plan to coordinate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to draft policy documents (to include formal guidance and procedural documents), facilitate internal and external reviews, adjudicate input, coordinate for review and Director's signature, and assist with implementation and lifecycle management. Evaluate how policies and plans stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. Through the use of regulatory and guidance documents to include but not limited to:
Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, Guidance, and Memoranda, Department of Energy Orders, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and International Standards Organization artifacts, SANS, and EC-Council standards, the Policy and Plan Devlopment Specialist will lead the identification, development, and modification of standard policies and plans to support enterprise operations, continuity and contingency planning/programming, and DOE and Intelligence Community compliance. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
