What you'll doWe re looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Engineering manager, who will be leading a best-in-class engineering team.
The ideal candidate is experienced and passionate about building high volume experiences at scale for the global markets.
They have prior knowledge in React components, performance tuning, and building high-scale APIs in NodeJs.
You will do this while working with a team of passionate people, who care about building scalable web apps and delivering the best solutions to our customers.
The desired candidate will be a well-rounded developer, who is not afraid to jump into any level of the stack (React, NodeJS, MongoDB and has proven experience in web development, a flexible attitude and aptitude to learn and share.
This person enjoys working in a fast-paced agile environment, cares about their decisions, and is focused on quality driven development.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering.
ResponsibilityHelp define the vision and roadmap for DocuSign s front-end application and APIs working with the productLead a team of 5-7 junior and senior engineers Collaborate with partners across the company to architect, execute and deliver cross functional and cross domain featuresWork with other project teams to identify dependencies and build shared codeCollaborate with the UX organization and participate in design reviews Own and deliver accurate effort estimations for each release cycle Work as part of a development team in the design, implementation, testing and release of new solutionsLead team to architect and build high-quality, ship-ready code with unit, integration and automation test casesJob DesignationHybrid:

What you bringBasic BS degree in Computer Science or related field 5 years of engineering management experience 5
total years industry experience in Software Engineering 5
years of experience developing React based front applications, with focus on performance and scalabilityPreferred Experience building scalable and performant React based applications using TypescriptAppreciation for good designs and the ability to work well with user experience teams Experience with Git, continuous integration and deployment tools Experience with using Playwright for front end automation testingExperience working in an agile development environmentExperience with Node.
js & deploying applications on Microsoft Azure CloudCuriosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool setsWage TransparencyBased on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area):
$139,800 - $207,325 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
