Scrum Master with Security Clearance
Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team to support a Cloud-based (AWS) mission critical system for our Federal CustomerThis person will provides extremely high-level subject matter proficiency for work described in the taskThe Scrum Master is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environmentYour role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support tickets and unblocking barriers to keep the team movingYou will be responsible to communicate and collaborate primarily with the engineering, customer success and senior management teamsThe ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong leadership abilities and have the desire to be part of a dynamic team where you'll have the opportunity guide the development of portfolio of productsResponsibilities Include:
o Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospectiveo Manages engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releaseso Creates or analyzes business requirements documents and project timelineso Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimateso Drives team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders Manages project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performanceo Works with team leads to resolve problems and project roadblockso Able to do post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivityo Leads team effort in relentless improvement, defines and implements improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the programo Implements and supports principles, rules and processeso Proactively identifies and eliminates impediments and facilitate flowo Maintains team data in project management software (i.eJIRA and others) to support estimates and executiono Presents high level project readouts for senior managemento Supports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope Required Education, Experience, & Skillso Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeo Minimum 8 years of project management experience and 3 years leading sprintso Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.o Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environmento Expert coach on implementation of agile scrumo Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmento Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planningo Comfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Certified Scrum MasterScaled Agile Framework SAFe(TM) Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$122870 - $208890 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
