Responsibilities:
The Energy REACTS Engineer will:
o Work with energy leaders in industry, academia and the governmento Lead Energy REACTS--an energy technical portfolio--and advise senior leaders on energy technology and policyo Prepare an annual energy report for Department of Defense and Congresso Create a strategy for next-generation power and energy technologyQualifications and Education Requirements:
o Within the last 5 years, candidate must have had 2
years' experience in operational energy technology o Experience in portfolio management and budgeting o Experience in data analytics and model-based systems engineering tools o Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical discipline o U.SCitizen o Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance Preferred Skills:
o 5
years of experience in an engineering position related to operational energy o Prior experience with technology integration and acquisition requirements for Navy and Marine Corps platforms and weapons systems o Experience with database management o Master's degree in engineering or a similar technical discipline o SECRET security clearance EOE:
