This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits and quality reviews of internal Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) operations to ensure compliance with Federal statutes, VA policies, OPM guidance, and other legal and regulatory requirements.This vacancy may be filled at any of the following locations:

$118,590 - $191,900 per yearDuties:
Major Duties Include:
Developing and implementing quality control systems and procedures aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of internal HR processes. Leading the identification and analysis of inefficiencies and technical errors in HR processes through systematic QA reviews. Experience with conducting performance audits and needs assessments in line with the GAO Yellow book. Analyzing audit findings to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices, subsequently recommending corrective actions or enhancements. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the implemented process improvements and making necessary adjustments to ensure the continuous enhancement of HR operations. Leading and coordinating training initiatives for internal HRSC staff based on audits and identified needs to ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Serving as a liaison between HRSC and the Staff Office point of contacts, facilitating communication and coordination to ensure the consistent application of HR practices across different units. Preparing and presenting reports to senior HR leadership, offering insights and recommendations on the performance, challenges, and achievements of external HR functions.
