Job DetailsWe are looking for a Director of Quality Control to oversee the quality control function for our audit team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
The Director of Quality Control will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating audit engagements to ensure adherence to quality control standards and providing guidance and training to audit staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and procedures for the audit team Monitor and evaluate audit engagements to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements Provide guidance and training to audit staff on quality control standards and best practices Collaborate with firm leadership to address quality control issues and implement improvements Conduct quality control reviews of audit documentation and reports Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality control Assist in the development of firm-wide quality control initiatives Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification required Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on quality control Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Interested in hearing more?
