NextGen America is currently seeking a creative, self-starting Social Media Manager to develop and execute winning social media content.
This person will work with the team to engage and grow our online presence to advance our organizing and electoral priorities.
We are looking for someone who wants to help engage with young voters, expand ballot access and elect progressives up and down the ballot.

N/A WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
Managing and growing NextGen America's social media presence and the youth vote narrative online through daily content on a variety of platforms.
Write, edit and curate content for social media properties including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Tiktok.
Daily posting on ED social media accounts.
Coordinate with departments to uplift team priorities.
Assist in creating content for grassroots campaigns from conception to design, execution, and analysis.
Managing social media campaigns and digital projects to drive engagement online, including during rapid response moments.
Produce reports on social media activity and metrics.
Maintain an understanding of the emerging trends in social media and digital storytelling and utilize them effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned ABOUT YOU:
2-3 years of professional social media and digital experience Demonstrated ability to develop and manage political and/or media partnerships Exceptional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
The candidate must be comfortable working independently, have excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a clear ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines.
Must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
Love working in a dynamic team environment.
Be a positive, unselfish team player that sets the tone for everyone to do their best work.
Comfortable working remotely in a highly collaborative distributed workforce setting.
BONUS POINTS FOR:
Proficiency in graphic design/editing tools like the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools including Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.
SALARY INFORMATION:
The starting salary range for this position is $72,000-$85,000.
The final base salary will be determined by various factors, including individual qualifications and internal parity, which will be objectively assessed during the interview process.
