$21-$27 Per Hour
Summary:
The Grounds Laborer is responsible for all grounds maintenance tasks related to the campusDUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenanceo PunctualityMust be able to show up on time and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
o Operating small equipment, such as commercial walk behind mowers, string trimmers, back blowers etc.
o Mowing of all turfgrass areas on campuso Seasonal planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
o Apply herbicides to unwanted weeds in mulch beds, sidewalks, and roadways.
o Prepare mulch beds with edge and mulch to planting beds.
o Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
o Keep grounds, roads, and curbs clear of trash and debris at all timesSnow Removalo Mandatory Attendance for all mobilized winter weathereventsOur ability to deliver detailed snow removal services is of high importance to the mission of our client.
o Snow Blower, Snow Plow, or Skid Loader experience
Qualifications:
o 5
years of Landscaping and/or Grounds Maintenance experience.
o Must be motivated to work outdoors in changing conditions.
o Have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance.
o Must also be able to concentrate on their tasks.
o The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
o High School Diploma or GED WORKING CONDITIONS:
