Mammography Technician
Medix is seeking a mammography technologist with an active ARRT to work for a growing organization focused on expanding access to preventive cancer testing in the DC area! This organization is looking for a technologist who is comfortable working in an office setting as well as on their company mammogram van.
Duties:
- Perform routine and advanced mammogram imaging.
- Utilize imaging equipment, computers and image archiving systems.
-Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA and resolve issues related to equipment
- Depending on appointments or scheduling, work in office or on the mammogram van
Requirements:
Active ARRT certification
Previous experience as a mammography technologist
Experience with ultrasound guided biopsies preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
