United States Citizens or individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residency or authorized by Immigration and Naturalization Service to work in the U.S. Full-Time Permanent The Civil ADR Branch of the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division is responsible for civil mediation, case evaluation and arbitration programs, probate and tax programs, and other related initiatives. A background and/or security investigation is required. Probationary period of one (1) year. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES : This position is located in the Civil ADR Branch of the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Division and is responsible for managing and coordination of a range of mediation programs including civil, small claims, landlord and tenant, tax and probate mediation and other related initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for the management of the branch, for the recruitment, supervision, training and evaluation of staff, and for the management and coordination of volunteer mediators. The incumbent is also responsible for providing information to the judges, court personnel, the bar association and members of the public regarding the function of the Branch. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of ADR experience including two (2) years of supervision of employees and volunteers. Management training may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience (You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. certificate, transcript, etc.) with your application). Relevant education may include law, social work, counseling, business, management or related disciplines. Experience in a court setting and an advanced degree is preferred. There are 26 pay periods in the year. This job is being filled by an alternative hiring process and is not in the competitive civil service.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
