Description:
SAIC is looking for a Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) System Specialist to join our Military Sealift Command team located in Washington, DC.
Duties will include:
Access and utilize all supporting tools as required in support of the invoice validation process. Collect and maintain applicable data to assist with pre-invoicing, invoicing and de- obligation reports and sustain rejected invoices producing reports as required.
Assist with preparation of Move/Add/Change (MAC) forms, utilizing and maintaining all associated tools.
Maintain NMCI order and inventory data in the NMCI Enterprise Tool, including, but not limited to, data collection, validation, and entry.
Track, follow-up and provide feedback on MAC submissions.
Collect, record and update data in support of Dual Desktop Reporting requirements, providing routine status and participate in Dual Desktop Reduction requirements by responding to various data calls and preparing documents in support of quantifiable reduction requirements.
Support the transition process by collecting, validating, verifying and entering data; responding to ad-hoc data calls; preparing transition plans; coordinating and scheduling transition meetings, surveys, training sessions and other transition support activities; facilitating cross organizational and external coordination; assisting with user deployments, equipment logistics, software validations, equipment validations, customer inquiries, daily status reports and clean-up activities (NMCI sweeps).
Collect and analyze NMCI performance statistics in support of Service Level Agreement validation.
Maintain MSC-specific information in the Department of Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS), Information Strike Force (ISF) Tools, or any Navy- mandated application in support of NMCI application rationalization and provide application analysis support and internal/external coordination for Functional Application Manager (FAM), DADMS and ISF Tools initiatives.
Support Technical Refresh (TR) initiatives with data collection, validation, verification and data entry efforts. Participate in application testing, user deployments and the development of transition plans and all requirements associated with TR.
Provide NMCI Science and Technology (S&T;) network administration.
Develop business process documentation to define the processes used to administer NMCI responsibilities.
Analyze non-NMCI infrastructure requirements, perform engineering design, and make recommendations for upgrades.

years related experience. Seven years work experience will be considered equivalent to a four year degree. Chosen candidate should have 3 to 4 years of NMCI-related experience. Individual must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Candidate should be able to provide technical and software maintenance support, prepare supporting documentation in support of various NMCI data calls and experience in the development and execution of transition plans.
