This position will have responsibility to oversee Frontier's Federal regulatory affairs Major responsibilities include:
Represent the federal regulatory matters of concern to Frontier before federal agencies, including but not limited to FCC, NTIA, FTC and DOJ.
Represent the interests of Frontier in various federal trade associations.
Develop and coordinate federal regulatory strategy, working with legal, engineering, economic and tax departments internally, as well as associations externally.
Coordinate strategy with state regulatory efforts.
Support federal regulatory compliance.
Provide advice and counsel to officers and employees of the company regarding all federal regulatory matters.
Desired educational and professional qualifications for this position include a law degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association; membership in good standing in at least one state bar association; at least five (5) years of experience in regulatory law practice, preferably in telecommunications and/or before the FCC; strong oral and written communication skills. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal as well as organizational skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
