Key Role:
Aggregate and analyze technical documentation to align with the iterative and incremental delivery of VA PMAS processes, leveraging the systems development life cycle framework. Identify opportunities for process improvement in the collection, aggregation, and delivery of a project's technical documentation and develop and refine dashboard views to enable visibility of project information across multiple work-streams and stakeholders. Develop performance metrics based on project dashboard views that support pre-technology review and post-technology review process improvement and present this material to varying audiences. Serve as a liaison between technical project teams, the VA client, and other VA support teams, applying an understanding of the project's mission and needs and translating this information into actionable requirements or other technical documentation guidance. Work collaboratively with project teams, the VA client, and support teams to collect, review, and summarize relevant project information to prepare the VA client for technology reviews. Leverage existing PMAS project artifact repositories, where appropriate and document and track all efforts related to technical assessments and project team interactions to ensure follow-up occurs with all stakeholders, at the appropriate intervals. Provide concise and accurate reporting updates on an IT project's status to the VA client and various audiences on a regular and ad-hoc basis, according to established processes and formats.
Basic
Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with contributing to technical aspects of multiple, concurrent projects, and assessment of technical requirements as an analyst
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
-Ability to thoroughly understand technical details, including technical architecture or design and translate details for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise and influence
-Ability to motivate others in cross-functional and internal environments
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize without guidance and facilitate discussions
-Public Trust clearance
-BA or BS degree required

-Possession of excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
