ASSESSMENT FACTORS
1. Experience or knowledge which demonstrates an understanding of computing systems (server or storage) and their configurations
2. Experience or knowledge in deploying Operating System updates for server, storage and virtual platform devices.
3. Maintains hardware, operating systems, applications software, networking equipment, accounts, and security.
4. Facilitates basic system administration tools and processes; boots/shuts down a machine, adds/removes user accounts, uses backup programs, maintains system database files (groups, hosts, aliases, user managers).
5. Administers a small, uniform site alone or assists in the administration of a larger system.
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
1. Certification as a Microsoft Systems Administrator.
2. Knowledge of or certification in file and/or block level storage systems and file system protection to include backup/recovery process.
3. Certification or experience that will support obtaining certification for DoD 8570.1.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
