Key Role:
Provide technology analyst consulting on a team supporting a government client in the Department of Veterans Affairs. Perform research and analysis to write reports on emerging and existing technologies and identify impacts of those technologies on VA's IT environment in terms of processes, applications, systems, technologies, resources, security, or risk. Create timelines for IT strategy documentation that depict when different transition activities will occur in the VA. Perform stakeholder engagement with IT representatives to gather input on IT related initiatives, including mobile, Cloud, shared services, and IT infrastructure modernization. Maintain responsibility for updating a stakeholder engagement list, preparing presentations on emerging and existing technologies, and maintaining version control of IT strategy documentation.
Basic
Qualifications:
-1 years of experience with IT, including systems development, architecture, and strategy
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
-Knowledge of information systems concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and techniques
-Public Trust clearance
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with developing IT strategy documentation or enterprise level architectures
-Experience with federal enterprise architecture concepts
-Experience with IT strategy documentation or architectural products and frameworks, including FEA, DoDAF, or TOGAF
-BA or BS degree in CS, IT, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
