Key Role:
Work with the IRS SharePoint group to administer the SQL Server database for a large federal agency, supporting a SharePoint farm that consist of multiple environments and groups of clustered databases. Evaluate and configure the databases for optimal efficiency, plan for increased capacity and disaster recovery, monitor backups and maintenance, and specify schemas for new farms. Provide technical leadership and direct client interaction on a team of SharePoint administrators. Provide guidance in support of a system that hosts thousands of sites and over one hundred thousand users.
Basic
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with SQL Server administration, including SQL Server clustering, log shipping and mirroring, disaster recovery planning, and performance monitoring and evaluation
-Experience with designing SQL database schema and developing stored procedures and triggers
-Ability to work with technical and business staff and transition easily between groups
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with SharePoint 2010 and 2013 configuration and administration
-Experience with SQL reporting services
-Experience with Windows Server 2008, DNS, and Active Directory
-Possession of excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
