office is seeking a corporate attorney with at least 4 years of experience advising registered investment companies on issues involving the Investment Company Act of 1940, drafting registration statements for open-end and closed-end investment companies and preparing board meeting materials and advising boards of directors of registered investment companies.
Ideal applicants would also have experience advising registered investment advisers on the requirements of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
This firm is big enough to provide a sophisticated client base, and small enough to know each partner by his or her first name.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
