QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to interface competently with other technical team members and other stakeholders
Associate (Entry Level): 0-2 years
Basic experience in various Unix OS flavors, specifically Linux
Basic understanding of VMware Virtualization technologies, AWS Cloud
Basic understanding and knowledge of scripting and automation using shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.
Basic understanding and knowledge on automation skills using systems configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Docker, etc.
Basic understanding and knowledge on SQL skills in Oracle
Understanding of execution framework with continuous integration (Jenkins, Nexus)
Comfortable working in an agile software development environment
Works under the supervision and guidance of more experienced team members
Dev Ops Engineer I (Entry Level to Junior): 2-4 years
Good experience in various Unix OS flavors, specifically Linux
Good understanding of VMware Virtualization technologies, AWS Cloud
Solid understanding and knowledge of scripting and automation using Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.
Works under the supervision and guidance of more experienced team members
Coordinate all aspects of a release lifecycle including development and test activities
Acts as key participant in coordinating releases/deployment of code through different environments (Development, Test, Staging, UAT, Production)
Experience/good understanding and knowledge on SQL skills in Oracle
Assist in developing best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g. Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT, Shell) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson), and infrastructure automation (VM Ware, Chef, etc.)
Dev Ops Engineer II (Junior to Mid): 4-6 years
Expertise in various flavors of Unix, specifically Linux
Good knowledge in VMware Virtualization technologies, AWS Cloud
Strong scripting and automation using shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.
Strong automation skills using systems configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Docker, etc.
Strong SQL skills in Oracle
Hands on experience in managing performance test tools infrastructure
Develop sound version control best practices based CM systems (Clearcase, SVN, GIT, etc.), including branching and merging strategies
Assist in developing best practices for infrastructure as code (e.g. Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT, Shell) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson), and infrastructure automation (VM Ware, Chef, etc.)
Dev Ops Engineer III (Mid to Lead): 6-8 years
Extensive expertise in various flavors of Unix, specifically Linux
Leadership experience, client facing experience, continuous integration
Expertise in VMware Virtualization technologies, AWS Cloud
Expertise in scripting and automation using shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.
Develop sound version control best practices based CM systems (Clearcase, SVN, GIT, etc.), including branching and merging strategies
Expertise in automation skills using systems configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Docker, etc.
Expert SQL skills in Oracle
Extensive hands on experience in application monitoring and tuning
Dev Ops Manager (Manager 8 years)
10 years of experience in the technology
4 years of professional experience leading Build and Release engineering practices and activities
Very strong Project Management experience performing ITIL RM /SCM activities
Knowledge of SCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)
Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
Clarity and precision in verbal and written communications
Ability to work with customers/stakeholders, developers, testers, project managers, support staff
Familiarity with software development life cycle models and agile programming methodologies
Familiar with Agile software development model
Experience acquiring in-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployment
