Job Description:
Working with CACI to assist the mission of the US Department of Justice, Educational Opportunities (EOS) Section.
Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES
Following established guidelines and criteria, under the direction of an EOS attorney or paralegal, Law Clerk shall perform any or all of the following tasks:
Assist with negotiation for the extension of settlement agreements.
Participate in weekly conference calls with Assistant U.S. Attorneys.
Edit and revise violations letters to school districts.
Work with the Division's GIS office to create various maps with calculated demographics.
Reorganize electronic files per attorney request.
Respond to FOIA requests.
Analyze documents produced by school districts for various desegregation cases.
Review document productions.
Review court filings for various post-consent decree desegregation cases.
Perform a wide variety of tasks such as preparing legal documents, conducting legal analysis, and conducting research. Prepare draft opinions for cases that will act as the foundation for lawyers. Help during the course of an action by preparing for a case and examining legal documents. This includes preparing legal documents such as petitions, legal complaints, and affidavits.
Law clerks in this role are required to travel 15-25%.Required:
Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate J.D.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
