One beautiful bedroom available in a 3 bedroom, 1500 square foot row house, set a block from the H St NE corridor. Two clean and tidy dudes in our mid-30s occupy the other rooms. We both like to garden, compost, hike, bike, and generally, enjoy the great outdoors. Ideally, we are looking for someone in their late 20s to mid-30s, is friendly/considerate/kind, able to pitch in with occasional yard work, motivated to maintain a clean home, a good communicator, and ok with a couple of classy AF house parties per year. Our location is ideal. We are a few blocks from 4 grocery stores (Giant, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's), the fancy new REI, Red Bear Brewing Company, and several lovely coffee shops. We are a 7 min walk to Union Station and a 5 min walk to the NOMA stop on the red line. The house comes fully furnished including, a brand new washer/dryer unit, and lots of top-notch cooking equipment. We are pet-friendly and watch a sweet and lovable dog (Lola) a few times a year (see photos for Lola reference). Our home features handcrafted local beers (and kombucha) on tap at all times, lush flower/vegetable gardens, charcoal grill/smoker, large backyard with newer deck, and tons of mid-grade dad/mom jokes to pass around! The room for rent is a smaller room with a south-facing window and a large closet. Rent is $750/month plus around $120 for utilities (including maid service). The room will be available starting in mid-December. We are open to the idea of a short-term renter but ideally are looking for someone long term. One month's rent deposit is due at lease signing, and you must submit and pass the application via our management company.
